I had a lot of pain and problems. Had a planned c-section. The ob's discovered my j-pouch is adhered to my uterus due to scar tissue creating alot of problems during the pregnancy. Is there anyone out there that has had this similar situation?

He is very interested in the j-pouch resection, but needs to obtain more information on the surgery, and the best places to have it done in the U.S.

When I was 35 years old I had the J-pouch surgery at Mayo Clinic. After many years of stricture problems and pouchitis, on a yearly exam a tumor in the pouch was found. This was 2 years ago and I'm doing well after chemo. Just recently I have found that I have a herniated stoma and am waiting to hear if surgery is needed. Any advice?.

Drugs were unsuccessful at controlling the disease. Three stage operation was done with J- pouch. I am pregnant now 6 1/2 months and wanting to talk to someone who has been in my boat or going through it now.

Although I've not had it long, I'm thinking about having a baby. I have two children but this was pre op time. Some concerns, so would like to hear from anyone whose been prenant post pouch. How did it go? and was your pouch fully functional after birth? Just want to prepare myself as I'm quite scared at the prospects.
