Ok, this is my story. I don't know if there is anyone else out there who has the same problem, but I would like to know so here it goes.

It all started about 4 years ago. I went to an ObGyn Doctor because of a bulge in the vaginal area. He said he would have to go in and do a simple rectaseal. Well, he did and things just did not get better. I tried going back to him but I thought he just didn't seem to have the time so I went for a second opinion. This doctor said I was a mess and that the first doctor had bands up in there and he would have to go in there and remove them along with hemorrhoids. So I had that done. Well, by now I had hardly any opening left. Things were not healing right so he went in and removed scar tissue and I don't know what else he did. After the third surgery, he said he was looking world wide for a doctor that could help.
By this time, I was starting to get where I could not control my bowels and I would call him and tell him this and all he would ever say was that he was still looking. I asked if we could go see a colo-rectal doctor and he said, "Oh no, you don't want to do that". This went on for 2 years. Finally, we took things into our own hands and called an out of town doctor in Kansas City which was an ObGyn which was where we started. She said she would have to send me to a colo-rectal Doctor there. We went to him and he ran some tests that showed nerve damage and that lead to no control over the bowels so now i have a colostomy, which I have had for a year. Is there anyone else out there with nerve damage and no sphincter muscles? I am left with a lot of pelvic pain. That is what I am dealing with now. Trying to find a doctor to fix it.
Well, that's my story. Hope I didn't bore anybody. If there is anyone else out there with the same problem or similar to it, please email me at Janpoo_47@hotmail.com
Thanks.
Janet
