I had never before any serious problems with my health until in May 1999 when I felt pangs in my stomach. For the first time in my life, I sought medical aid for myself. They found that there was a malignant tumour on my large intestine so big that it pushed on my bladder and made the pangs.
I was operated. That was a difficult operation.
The two surgeons worked for four hours on me and they removed the tumour
and the part of my bladder which was in contact with the tumour. During
the four months after the operation I had a temporary Ileostomy stoma until
September when I had it reversed.
I could not receive a full course of radiation
and chemotherapy because my stomach perforated. I was rushed back into
surgery to have my stomach operated on and the chemo and radiotherapy was
stopped.
Then in August 2000, I was again operated
on because the tumour was back and my large intestine was almost totally
obstructed. My large tumour was partly removed and now I have permanent
Colostomy stoma.
I have had much time to think between these
operations and occasionally I was ready to die but now I feel good and
I am happy that I have received a new life.
This is wonderful, Shaz, that there exists
a place where we can converse.
My web site is: http://www16.brinkster.com/vardanyan22
(Sorry that it is partly under construction at the moment but everyone
is very welcome to visit).
.
Thank you and best regards.
