Your Stories
This is the place for you to tell your story from start of diagnosis to surgery and beyond. It is always helpful for those who are contemplating ostomy surgery to read about others experiences - whether they be good or bad. It is a learning curve and hopefully will let others see that they are not alone in all of this!
If you want to add your story here, just email me (including a picture of yourself if you have one scanned - it's an advantage for people to be able to attach a face to the story) at shaz@ostomates.org with "My Story" in the subject line and I will add it here as soon as I can.
Please come back and check in from time to time for new stories - or write to me about your experiences in order to help others.
